Happy New Year? I'm a bit late,huh... I just wanted you to know that I am alive and almost well ... I had some problems so sorry I didn't write sooner. well well well...who do we have here?.., This is the third time I cought you reading my blog... well good ...mayo is good for you,but my blog is even better!!I'm glad that I have at least one stalker,hahaha! Well.. I'll just shut the fuck up now and get to the point. hmmm..aah yes! I wanted to show you some interesting stuff I've been listening lately. It's mostly progressive stuff,...progressive rock,progressive metal,sludge progressive, progressive djent,progressive metal/noise,...mostly weird and pretty heavy stuff :) ........................................................................................................................................... For example I will name a few of my favourite bands that I've been listening a lot lately: 1.Haken 2.Steve Hackett 3.Angel Vivaldi 4.Joe Satriani 5.Devin Townsend(band) 6.Devin Townsend Project 7.Jan Akkerman 8.Leprous 9.Dream Theater 10.Joop Wolters 11.Glen Dover 12.Keith Marrow 13.Jeff Loomis 14.Rusty Cooley 15.Opeth The most weirdest stuff I have ever heard in my life was Devin Townsend's Devlab!! I absolutely enjoy listening to his songs,I love his project,and I gotta say he is definitely one of most talented musicians I've ever heard,his vocal abilities are unique,from opera voice to growl,clean and scream technique,it's absolutely a unique voice! The best of newer bands I heard would definitely be Haken,a band from London,England you can get more info about the band and hear their music on myspace > Haken <  There is also a great band which I like very much,it's Leprous,.. ...their new album is absolutely awesome,every song is a goddamn masterpiece! Leprous is a young, five piece band hailing from the metal town of Notodden, Norway. I really really like the song named "Mb. Indefferentia"you can hear it here,and tell me what you think after listening: Leprous - Mb. Indifferentia (youtube)  And for the end,there is a progressive metal guitarist Angel Vivaldi,.. I accidently bumped on the download link on some forum,and decided to check it out! And I gotta say I was speechless,that man is a wizard on guitar,he's got really mad skills, and his music is very melodic,very progressive and fast,also he's using tapping technique a lot,and it sounds amaizing,I've never heard anyone play like that before,I mean,I heard Jeff Loomis,Rusty Cooley,John Petrucci,...but this!...this was like a combination of those three... Absolutely the kind of music which I can completely enjoy, and listen to the album as many times as posible,and I wouldn't be bored of it,really really great EP,check it out: A.V. myspace  and ofcourse,a video,the making of Angel Vivaldi Universum Language EP Thats it from me,for now  stay heavy,stay crazy! \m/Cheers! |

I surfed the internet yesterday and I found a great Progressive/Power Metal band named Myrath,which means "Legacy".The band is from Tunis-Tunisia,and since I'm a big fan of Progressive Metal genre I wonder how the fuck I didn't hear them earlier?!...The new album "Tales Of The Sands" was released in October,and I gotta say I am gonna have to buy the album when I get a chance because it's fucking brilliant! .......................They are unique,I really like their music,it's energetic and powerfull, .............M....................it gives you "that something" and you feel better after listening a few .............Y........................... songs,and I'm gonna have to listen the other two albums too: .........p..R..o..g ....................."Desert Call"(2nd album) and "Hope"(1st album). ..m..e..t..A..l...............................The band was formed in 2001 by the guitarist Malek Ben Arbia and two of his .............T......................................friends Fahmi Chakroun (drums) and Oualid Issaoui (guitar),back .............H........................................then Malek was only 13 years old! Impressive!..however in the beggining ..................................................the band was called "Xtazy",they played mostly Death covers(2001) and ..........\m/............................2 years later they played Symphony X covers until the keyboardist .....................................Elyes Bouchoucha and bassist Anis Jouini joined the band in 2003.... ..............................Later after they opened a concert for Robert Plant and Adagio, the .....................band became more ambitious in pursuing ........................an international career so they changed the band name from Xtazy to Myrath. ...........................The success of "Hope" contributed to improving the notoriety of MYRATH, and ................................paved the way for prestigious European festivals (such as METAL ROCK FESTIVAL ......................................- Norway and PROGPOWER-EU – The Netherlands) to include the band in the ......................................... lineup of their 2008 edition. Hell-o! :) I gotta tell you, I've got some great news...it's about my future,.. a music academy and college... I've finally found something I really want to do in future,either a professor in a music school,or a professor of english...I'm good at english,I think,.. I've been learning english for about 10 years,and also I learn german, french and recently I started learning swedish and chinese :) I hope I'll learn how to write chinese soon,..that's a tough assignment..the easy part is pronouncing chinese words,that's the easiest part. Well what can I say,that's pretty much it if you were wondering what's new with me... Now I've got something for you,my loyal readers The Making Of Kryn EP!! " Kryn is a young band from Croatia formed in 2003. Howdy! How 's it going?...good?..I hope ...well it was all fine here for a few days.. Anyway,just wanted to let you know,situation between me and my friends, or should I say former band colleagues is now resolved. Everything is ok right now,I was actually surprised when Kuta sent me a message on facebook,he said he apologizes for everything,and that the argument actually started because of nothing! I guess,we were all frustated with something,and we said some bad words to each other,and I took it too serious. Well,as I said on the beginning, it was all fine for a few days I was happy for a few days...if you knew me better,you would notice that I'm always sad,angry and depressed because of way life treats me...and just when I thought it was all fine,my life is ok...then the person I always called "dad" ruined everything by his stupid comment on my behaviour,I again feel like shit and I just want to go live somewhere else,I hate everything here, I hate my home,I wish I could just go somewhere else,disappear forever my fucking life is a mess,in 18 years,...I've learnt a valuable lesson, to never trust anyone,even yourself because life will always treat you the opposite from what you want to be treated like,life is just a shithole full of hate and evil,and it won't let you breathe normally,it will strangle every wish for happyness and every move you make trying to make your life better...I used to say to myself,you can't give up,keep fighting...but I guess I'm either too stupid,or too weak to deal with this thing everybody call life... This isn't life!! The only explanation why I said that is, if this is life,we would be able to live and breathe freely,do good things,share love,and live without stupid problems and complications... People are evil materialistic pieces of shit that destroyed this planet, and I can't do anything to change that,so I just hope that fucking aliens will come soon and destroy this shithole.. just kiddin,i really don't know what to do anymore,the only reason why I still live is music,I love music,that is the only thing that actually makes me happy,the only thing in "life" that I sincerely love. ok,I don't want to be boring...my life is messed up,I'm a sad man, and lets just leave it here,because noone can change anything anyway and...there are some other things I wanted you guys to see/hear :) You know I'm a big fan of Soilwork!! For those who don't know, Soilwork is a melodic/progressive/death metal band from Helsingborg,Sweden. I love their music,and I could definitely say I am one of their biggest fans.. First Soilwork song I heard was Stabbing The Drama..I cannot describe the feeling that obsessed me when I heard that fucking master piece, I was 11 or 12 years old then,but I knew that Soilwork will forever be my favourite band Unfortunately,I only got a chance to buy one of their albums,their last album called "The Panic Broadcast" It's a great fucking album,I love every single song from the album,my favourite song from that album is Late For The Kill, Early For The Slaughter, very melodic,very difficult to perform,and extremely rhythmic,... Dirk Verbueren is a wizard on drums,it's amaizing what that guy does,absolutely amaizing!! another thing I need to mention is that Bjorn,the vocalist also did amaizing things with that growl/scream/clean technique,his voice is unique,absolutely one of my favourite vocalists ever... so all I gotta say in the end is that I would love to see them live and that you guys should get that album,and listen to it,.. Here I stand in the field of sorrow,fog of justice has uncloaked the face of injustice,.. wonder what the fuck am I talking about?..well I could just say that some people betrayed,and dissapointed me,one of my best friends,Šorc,guitarist whom I knew for almost 12 years has decided to leave the band because he thinks that I was nervy and insolent to him...ofcourse I said,ok man,let's talk about it,let's solve this, we talked for 2 hours and he was telling rubbish about me and told me how he doesn't want to be in the band because we don't appreciate his work...and that was a lie,bullshit! I mostly care about everyone and everything and we always talk to work things out,but no..this time he got kinda mad and he was stubborn as a fucking rock,i couldn't talk normal to him,he was blaming me for all the things recently happened to band members...our singer Kuta left the band two months ago, I told him to go because he was awfully insolent to me,he cursed and stuff for 3-4 hours while we were arguing about something stupid,he cursed even more insolent,then i just became furious after all the shit he said to me and I told him to go fuck himself and that i don't wanna see him ever again...but after a while i got over it,called him, asked if he want's to reconcile...he said no,we don't have much to talk about...after all i've done to help him in the past just dissapeared in his eyes,he became cold blooded stupid son of a bitch,so I finally decided to forget about all of that,..and then other shit happends..few days ago the rhythm guitarist left the band,and than the other guitarist left too because he thought we'll never be a real band...true,we had a lot of problems with the band,we couldn't find the drummer who's skilled enough to play double bass pedal,...another reason why Ady left was something attached with school he said he has to study and shit...ok i respect that..I'm the only one left in the band now,kinda funny,one man band...I talked recently with Ady,he said we're definitely gonna play again soon,as soon as we find the drummer and the lead guitarist and someone who can do growl/scream/clean vocals..it's hard to find someone who is good at everything,but we're looking,and i hope we'll find someone very soon,and i fucking hope we will create some fucking metal together and release a demo...that's that about the band thing,I dunno if you've heard but, the new Dream Theater album is coming out somewhere around September 13th, the album is called A Dramatic Turn of Eventsand i'm looking forward to it ,because I'm a big fan of D.T..check out the video,these guys are not only great musicians, but also fucking hilarous,check it out(link is bellow the text)anyway for all you who like prog metal ,here's something really great,a new band called Akribi released their first album,I got a delicious link where you can download the album(below the text) and you can also check their myspace for more info...btw I think you'll like the vocals :) Video: Dream Theater's John Petrucci And Jordan Rudess Discuss The "A Dramatic Turn Of Events" Deluxe Edition!< Akribi - Black Morning Sun [DOWNLOAD]< Akribi my,____,<  that would be all from me for now,hope you enjoyed reading my blog,if you have any questions or comments,leave a comment in a comment section below :) Cheers! -Jiub |

Here I am,sitting in this uncomfy old chair in front of my favourite trash can I like to call "computer"...just chilling,surfing the internet and chatting on facebook,I saw a link of some blog...I had a blog before..well a few of them actually...nothing serious but I came up with an idea,that I should maybe make a new blog right now,it's boring as hell and I don't know what the fuck am I gonna do cuz I can't sleep lately...so i started a blog,again..lol... anyway I think it would be polite if I introduce myself to whoever is reading this, ..I'm not gonna tell you my real name,so you're gonna have to call me Jiub :) that's my "artistic" name ..Jiub is actually the first person you see in one of my favourite PC games,Morrowind. I think it's a very cool and unique name for a person and I didn't saw anyone using it so ...well I was born 18 years ago,I live in a shitty town in Croatia,..about ten years ago I discovered love towards heavy metal music :) It all started when I heard a song from a very famous heavy metal band on a radio while I was eating my cereal...I've never heard anything like that before, so I just listened and enjoyed the magical sound of Janick Gers's guitar solo...yeah,I'm talking about the guitarist from Iron Maiden,..if you ask me,one of most successful heavy metal bands in the world,..later I discovered more awesome metal bands such as Metallica,Pantera,Sepultura....I really loved that music ,and as I was getting older I decided that I want to learn to play electric guitar or the bass guitar,play in a rock band,create music!....anyway my parents didn't let me buy the guitar because they thought I wasn't serious about that,so I had to let it go,and eventually I forgot about all that...untill two years ago I decided to try again and parents finally let me buy the bass guitar..I was extremely happy about that and I started learning the basics ...last two years of my life changed me completly! before I was just a kid with a dream, and now my dream has come true,I started a band with one of my best friends,he plays guitar...we played rock and heavy metal in the beginning,but now we play something more serious,it's a combination of progressive and melodeath,...the combination of two of my favourite metal genres...anyway we're not an active band yet but we have about 10 songs,and we're thinking about recording a demo soon,I hope it will go well :D Anyway thank you for reading my blog,this is pretty much it about myself,if you have questions you can ask me in the comment section below!...I apologize if spelled something wrong,my english ain't so good :D but I'll make it up to you,here's an awesome video from InfidelAmsterdam,a very cool metal dude from youtube,the video is about Castlefest....It is a three days festival with music, drinks ( beer, mead, etc ) , food ( all sorts ) and people dressing up in the most wonderful costumes.
